What is Seedline all about?
Seedline is a means for the local church to have hands-on involvement with Bible publishing for the world. Instead of only giving toward Scripture distribution, your whole congregation — every age — gathers around the tables and assembles the books themselves. The finished Scriptures are then carried by missionaries and national pastors to people who have never owned one.
We like to say the work is enjoyable, easy, and eternal.
Six simple steps
A Seedline project is a Scripture assembly line — and there is a place on it for everyone in your church.
Collate
Gather the printed pages of the John & Romans into order.
Fold
Fold the covers that will hold each copy of Scripture.
Insert
Place the Scripture pages into their covers.
Staple
Bind each book securely down the spine.
Cut
Trim the finished books clean on the cutter.
Box
Pack the Scriptures for shipment around the world.
Two ways your church can be involved
Level 1
A Project Church
A Seedline missionary comes to your church and oversees the assembly of the John & Romans — bringing the printed materials and all the equipment needed.
Level 2
A Planted Church
Your church invests in its own equipment and purchases Scriptures from Bearing Precious Seed on a regular basis for ongoing assembly.
— Why we do it —
“He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
Psalm 126:6
The seed is the Word of God. Every John & Romans your church assembles is a seed planted in someone’s hands — and eternity will show the harvest.
A ministry of Faith Baptist Church
